    Helping out other countries: Laos is chairing ASEAN 2024 Australia To Train Lao Interpreters To Prepare For The 2024 ASEAN Chair Year - Laotian Times

    ASLIA Initiatives: The Australian Sign Language Interpreters and Translators Association (ASLIA) is actively involved in several initiatives, including research funded by the Leonie Jackson Memorial Fund to study the experiences of deaf students and Auslan-English interpreters in education. ASLIA is also exploring access to Auslan interpreting services in primary care settings as part of a review by the Department of Health and Aged Care​ (Source:ASLITA website)​.
